Launch

This weekend I spoke in Charlottesville, VA at the middle school Launch convention presented by SMOV (Student Ministries of Virginia). It was an honor to be allowed the opportunity to present the Gospel of Christ to those students.
However, it was a challenging theme this year. I was told to teach on the importance of being "Together" in the body of Christ

Ephesians 2:21-22
"In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in Him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit."

I won't lie, it is a little tricky to communicate the importance of existing as a unified community to 12 year olds who's primary concern is... well... themselves (I mean, I know that's how I was as a 12 year old). However, I feel that God took over and did the talking, thus the weekend bore fruit. The kids listened great, and I'm really pleased.

I was a little sick all weekend and tried to keep from coughing up flem on the front row. Other than that, good times!

you should not tempt me by leaving yourself signed on to bill's computer. puhleeze never do this to me again because it is taking ALL my strength not to post a new blog. and I need my strength for other, lesser things.
